People take it for granted how easy it is to experience a clambake dinner. But thirty years ago, when Tony Minardi, a local high school science teacher started his business by selling fresh lobsters out of a lobster tank in his blue van on Montauk Highway (hence the name 'Claws on Wheels'), such a thing as a 'clambake' was unknown. Tony was one of the first to begin the local 'Clambake' craze that has made the East End so unique. It is at CLAWS ON WHEELS that Tony's tradition continues: The Clambake!
